Meet Tetley, the little piggy the size of a cup of tea
With his paws spread wide and taking a step up on to a cup of tea, this little piggy tries desperately hard to make himself big and strong. But there's no getting away from the fact that he is still no bigger than a tea cup.
Tetley the piglet is the size of a teacup and has to get a hoof up from this saucer to drink his favourite brew Tetley the miniature pig is the smallest of a litter of eight piglets born to his mum, Poppy Two Socks.
After several false pregnancies the miniature pig gave birth to her brood at Pennywell Farm in Buckfastleigh, Devon.
And Tetley, clearly keen on a cuppa himself, has grown no taller than three inches high and five inches long.
Tetley the piglet is so small he can fit in the palm of a hand of his owner, Chris Murray Pennywell miniature pigs are bred from a range of old English strains and grow no bigger than the size of a cocker spaniel.
Most of the litter will be sold as pets with the others kept at the farm for future breeding.
Pennywell owner Chris Murray said "Tetley is the star of the farmyard."
All the attention could be proving too much for Tetley the piglet, who just wants a sleepRead more: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-487669/Meet-Tetley-little-piggy-size-cup-tea.html#ixzz0WKr2pVEB

Family of Pigs..
Piglets are one of the main subjects of ARS animal behaviorists. These scientists study behavior of pigs and cows 'round the clock with the goal of improving animal handling practices to reduce stress on animals and lower production costs.

Pigs are very clean Animals
Pigs are very clean animals. In fact, pigs are some of the cleanest animals around. They like to maintain separate eating sleeping and defecation areas. When given the room and freedom to decide, pigs choose to be clean and tidy.
Pigs enjoy private time with their newborn babies. Before giving birth, a pregnant sow will remove herself from the herd and build a nest out of leaves, branches, grass, or straw to give birth on. She will care for the piglets for several days, before leading her new babies to meet the rest of the herd.
Pigs are extremely intelligent. They are thought to be the smartest of all domestic animals. Pigs have an I.Q higher than dogs and are considered by animal experts to be more trainable than dogs or cats.
Pigs cannot sweat. They do not have sweat glands. During hot weather they will roll around in the mud or water. Then when the wind blows over them, the water from the mud evaporates, and cools them. The dried mud acts as a layer of sunscreen. Their mucky appearance has given them the undeserved reputation of being grubby animals. Sweating like a pig, really means not sweating at all.
Pigs have an excellent sense of smell. That is why they have been used to search out truffles (rare fungus that grows underground) and drugs, and they have even been used to detect land mines.
Pigs love to play and exercise. They love running, digging, splashing in puddles, and playing with other pigs.
There are many places named after pigs:
Boarhills in Scotland.
Hog Island in Florida.
Hog Island in Grenada.
Hog Island in Guyana
Hog Island in Michigan
Hog Island in Virginia
Hog Point in Virginia
Hog Head in Ireland
Pig Point in Virginia
Bay of Pigs in Cuba
Sow River in England

150Kg super fat Pig in Taipei
This is a super crazy fat pig found in Taipei :O
A man looks at a pig walking out from where it sleeps in Taipei May 22, 2008. The sole tenant of 151 Ti-Hua Street, Taipei pays no rent, does no work and won't mind being called a fat pig.
This pig is a 150-kg (330 lb) sow after all. The pig's owner, a middle-aged man who declined to be interviewed, put her up at the tiny, blue-painted hut about two years ago when she got too big to share a living space with humans, neighbours say.
